So the talk of the world right now is war, or the economy, or health care. It's the World Cup! Soccer as taken over the attention of most of the world. The sad thing is, however, it has nothing to do with the players in the game. The FIFA World Cup has been focused on all the really horrible refereeing. Calls have been made that shouldn't have been and call have been ignored where clearly a violation was present. Now, I'm not suggesting that these referees are being dishonest, but does anyone ever wonder if perhaps there are a few personal or even national agendas? What better way for a random no body to protest a nation by throwing a game before the eyes of the world. Again, I'm not suggesting it...but it sure puts things in a new focus doesn't it?
